Bridge Association Antrim is a community-driven organisation dedicated to supporting, connecting, and empowering individuals and families across Antrim. Rooted in a spirit of inclusion and collaboration, we aim to foster stronger relationships, promote wellbeing, and provide practical support through a range of local initiatives, events, and services. Whether it's offering a welcoming space, supporting vulnerable groups, or building partnerships across the community, our goal is to be a bridge that connects people to opportunities, resources, and each other.

The core work of the Bridge Association is to provide vocational training opportunities for adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities, improving self-help and independent living skills among our users. The vocational courses provided by the organisation are accredited and tailored to suit the ability and needs of the trainee (adult) across 3 key areas encompassing catering, horticulture/propagation and retail. Courses in Personal Development, Information Technology and Numeracy/Literacy are also available to the trainees so they can recognise their full potential in all aspects of their daily lives. The Bridge Association received national recognition from 1988 – 2005 as a UK model of excellence, reflecting the positive work of the organisation and its impact for people with learning disabilities.
"Since joining The Bridge, my son has grown in confidence, independence, and happiness. The staff are incredibly supportive, and the range of activities has helped him discover new interests and skills we never imagined. He especially loves working in the Quirky Emporium and being part of the Quirky Choir. We’ve seen such a positive change in him — it truly feels like he’s found a place where he belongs."
